Obituary of Emma Helena Lawrence

Lawrence, Emma Helena, of Annapolis Royal, NS died October 22, 2019 age 86. Born July 5, 1933 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of Ingram and Alice (Payne) Quinton. She is survived by daughter Leslie; sons: Ian (Valerie) and Peter (Marianne); grandchildren: Jesse, Leah (Chris), Alexandra (Will), and Quinton; great grandchildren: Anson and Juna; sisters-in-law Jean Palmer and Ruth Hodgins; Quinton nieces and nephew Wendy (Bruce), Paula and David. She is also survived by Holden cousins in Newfoundland George (Maureen), Don (Shirley), Bill (Jean) and Beverly (Ed). She was predeceased by her husband Dr. J.A. (Sandy) Lawrence, son-in-law Ross Maclean and brother Joliffe (Bette).

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday Oct. 25, 2019  from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday Oct. 26, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. both in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, NS Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday from St. George and St. Andrew United Church, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Elisabeth Backem-Jennings officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Donations in Emma’s memory may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens.
