It is with great sadness that my mom, Cynthia Anne (McLellan) Charlton, 65, of Bear River formally of Hantsport, passes away peacefully at Annapolis Community Health Centre, surrounded by family on Sunday February 9, 2020. Born in Windsor, NS, she was the oldest daughter of the late Phillip and Dorothy (Peach) McLellan of Hantsport. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy and son-in-law, Bill of Bear River; brothers, Dana McLellan of Bishopville, Michael McLellan of Avonport; granddaughter, Sasha Davison of Sussex, NB; great grandchildren, Karson and Braelynn of Sussex, NB; nephew, David (Sarah) McLellan of Bishopville; nieces Emily and Hannah McLellan of Avonport; several great nieces and nephews. Cindy worked at CKF for 12 years, Merry Maids for 5 years until a guy named Carroll swept her off her feet and she moved to Bear River and worked of ABCC for 17 years. Mom was a kind, loving generous women who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She cherished the time she spent with her great-grandson Karson when he came for a visit. She had a passion for making quilts. Her other passion was camping and socializing with her RV family at Fundy Spray Campground. Mom was predeceased by her son, Phillip; sister, Kim; husband, Carroll; both maternal and paternal grandparents and Aunt, Barb. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home. No visitation or funeral by request. Graveside service for the family will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Cindy’s memory, to Baie Ste Marie Animal Society or the Annapolis Community Health Centre. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Annapolis Community Health Centre for giving my mom such wonderful care during her stay.
