Very sorry to hear of Byron’s passing. I have been his doctor in recent years and always enjoyed our appointments and talking about music. On his last visit he gave me an old cd of some classical piano pieces he performed. I’m listening to it now as I remember him. Deepest condolences to his family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Byron, just happened to see it on Kaulbach Funeral Home today. My husband Brian and I were in Arizona until just a week ago, now back in Granville Ferry. I loved Byron when he played the organ at our church in Annapolis Royal. He also came to our house to play "a small organ" for my Aunt Barb's birthday many years ago. He always made me smile...

I was deeply saddened when I heard of Bryon's passing. We were great friends at North Queens Rural High School. I enjoyed listening to him play the paino on our lunch breaks. He had the ability to make people laugh. He will be deeply missed by those whose lives he has touched. Rest in Peace my friend.

I would like to send my personal condolence to Bryons family. A true man of God,and he had a willingness to share his love of worshiping his Lord through his music. The choirs of the Annapolis &Granville churches shared in Bryon’s desire to bring the message, the practices held a great fellowship time. He will truly be missed!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Byron's passing and want to extend sincere condolences to his family. Byron was organist and choir director of the Granville Centre and Granville Ferry United Baptist Churches, when I became their Pastor. I and the people of the churches always appreciated his willingness to travel so far to be with us and to share his musical gifts and talents with us. Byron was unique and much loved. We are saddened by his passing but joyful knowing that he knew and loved our Lord.
One of my favorite memories of Byron come from when I was without a car and we would talk as he drove me from the Granville service to the Annapolis Royal Church. It seems he was always thinking and would have a comment or question, often in some way related to my message. Sometimes I would leave the car shaking my head; and he knew it. I think he also knew that I always appreciated the way in which he caused me to think more deeply. May he rest in peace and may you, his family,, know the peace of Christ that passes all understanding.
Rev.. Elizabeth Legassie (Pastor of Annapolis Baptist Pastorate)
