Obituary of Mary Lynn DeLong

DeLong, Mary Lynn – 72, Round Hill, passed away March 18, 2020, in the Annapolis Community Health Centre, with her family by her side. Born in Caledonia, June 16, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Boudreau) Thomas.

Mary Lynn enjoyed the simple things in life that most of us take for granted. She would always stop to smell the flowers, pat the cute puppy, talk to every baby she saw, if she heard a plane, she was looking skyward for it but most importantly she smiled at everyone she met, making you feel so special. We have been blessed to have had her as part of our lives. Until the very end, she and Kenny shared the true love that everyone wishes for. They never wanted to be apart from one another, always said "I love you" numerous times a day and never spoke an ill word to one another.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; daughters, Debora Thomas; Angela (Allan) Carty; Amy (Simon) Deveau; six grandchildren, Jade, Brooke, Keisha, Emily, Aimée, Chloé; two great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Samuel who she wanted to meet; sister, Brenda Thomas (Dale); brother, Charles “Tommy” Thomas; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will take place at 2:00pm Saturday October 29th, at the First United Baptist Church of Annapolis Royal. **** There will be a service held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 29th at theFirst United Baptist Church in Annapolis Royal with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating.  A reception will follow in the Christian Education Center.****
