Obituary of Christine Yvonne Apt

Apt, Christine Yvonne 66 of Parker Mtn Road, Granville Ferry, Anna. Co., NS passed away May 6, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital with her husband by her side. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Alex- Nejmadeen and Yvonne Durocher both of Edmonton. Christine loved to take care of people, retiring in 2017, she spent 27 years working in nursing homes and home care, taking care of loved ones, family and friends. She loved to cook or bake for anyone and everyone, but no sharing recipes, that was always her secret. She loved to watch hockey with her husband, read books and do word puzzles. Christine was a jokester, she loved to pull pranks or play practical jokes on people. She always had a grin that told you she was up to something. She loved to spend time with her family and loved them immensely. She is survived by her husband Donald of Parker Mtn. Road; sisters: Kathleen Alex and Dianna Alex both of Edmonton. Daughters: Catherine (Shawn) Black of Pembroke, Ont. and Angela (Bradley) Hamilton of Devon, Alberta;7 grandchildren: Grace and Jaxon of Devon, AB., Kayla, Keanna, Nathalie, Brooklyn and Anastasia all of Pembroke, Ont. and 5 great grandchildren Aleena, Calden, Jeffrey-Daniel, Aniyah-Rose and Domitri. as well as many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Donations in Christine’s memory may be sent to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation.
