Obituary of Dorothy Ella Carty

Dorothy Ella (Dargie) Carty – 84, of Moschelle, passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2020. Born in Granville Ferry, she was an only child. Dorothy was as a cook in several nursing homes in the area. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. The size of gathering didn’t matter, the more the merrier and no one ever went away hungry. She was a hard worker and was very kind hearted. Dorothy loved her family. She liked all flowers but her favorite were tulips. Dorothy is survived by her children, David (Cathy), Moschelle; Freda Ann (Larry) Cress, Moschelle; Allen Dean (Angela) Carty, Alberta and Marilyn Carty, Moschelle; granddaughters, Theresa, Carrie, Emily and Keshia; great grandson, Brady; great granddaughters, Lexy and Cheavelle; great great grandsons, Samuel Scott and Nathaniel Dean. She was predeceased by her husband Seymour; daughter in infancy, Lisa May. Due to the recent outbreak of Covid-19 restrictions a private family visitation and burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
