Sabean, Vincent Claude – 71, Port Lorne, Annapolis County, passed away peacefully in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on July 27, 2020, with his family by his side. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Claude and Constance “Connie” (Lewis) Sabean. Vincent worked at the Victoria General Hospital; Farmers Dairy; Rosco Construction; Meb Poole’s; worked on both the Port Lorne and Hampton Wharves; a self-employed mechanic and a former member of Port Lorne Volunteer Fire Department. From an early age Vincent was known to be a jokester with a big heart. He loved to make people laugh. He never asked for help for himself but would be there 24/7 for anyone in need at a moment’s notice. Vincent had great wood working skills especially making clocks, which are treasured by many. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed working on all types of vehicles especially the ones being towed over to his place on a rope. Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Brenda (Herritt); son, Curtis; daughters, Cindy (Stephen) and Candace; grandson, Nash; brothers, Gerald (Darline) and Vance (Marcy); sisters, Beverly (Mark) and Mary (Wayne); several nieces and nephews and a very special Aunt, Vivian Johnson. He will be sadly missed by his faithful fur companions, #1 Baby Girl Maggie and boys Jack and Pettie. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Gary. Following Vincent’s wishes cremation has taken place, under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Family and friends are invited to Vance and Marcy’s on Saturday, August 1st around noonish for a time of ‘Remembering”. The rules of Covid 19 with Social Distancing will be followed.
