Obituary of Cheris Helena Rice

Rice, Cheris Helena - age 92 of Allains Creek, Annapolis Co., passed away very peacefully in her sleep on September 19, 2020 at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Dalhousie West, Annapolis Co., she was the daughter of the late Edith and Reginald Taylor. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Walden of 56 years and brother Vernon. Cheris was a loving wife and mother to her family and a member of the St. Luke’s Anglican Church. In 1965 she and her family moved to Pennsylvania, U.S.A. and later retired back to the Annapolis Royal area. She is survived by son Gary, Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters Shirley (Hoyt) Westdyke, Dallas, Tx.; Gail (Louis) McCabe, Harley, Pa.; Lynn, Austin, Tx.; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Due to the pandemic, a future memorial service will be announced with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
