Grammy you will be deeply missed.
You always pushed me to be my best. Your encouragement and support has lead me to who I am today. I have so many great memories from all our visits. Especially from when we used to visit for Christmas. You surrounded us with so much love and always cried when we had to part.
I know you have found the peace you needed and are watching over us from heaven.
Love you forever and ever.

Grammy you will be missed by many, but we know you are in a better place.
I have many fond memories of your home at Christmas time and exploring Annapolis Royal. Ice skating, tobogganing down the hill, and always a good game of cards (thirty one or golf). You always welcomed us with warmth and good meals.
We love and miss you, but find warmth knowing you are our guardian Angel and watching over us.
Love Angela, Mike, Jasper and Landon

My Grammy was the ultimate grandmother. Her care and compassion was evident from the get go, when she looked after me while my parents abandoned their 6 month-old son for the sunny beaches of Florida (sorry Mom). She was the best teacher, being the one who finally got me to crack the life struggle that is learning to tie one’s shoe. Grammy was also the master of crafts and hobbies, my practice with her resulting in the Glue and Scissors award in Kindergarten. We were also competitive rivals on the golf course, having many close matches when I was 10-14. She tried playing ping pong too, although not quite so well, anytime she got a point I would want to restart the game so I’d have the chance to skunk her. My grandparent’s home was always a retreat for warmth and happiness. When I came home for weekends from university I couldn’t wait to go to Grammy and Grampy’s to open a box of ice cream sandwiches and play the board game Aggravation. The last couple years were difficult for my Grammy, and I know she’s in a better place now. Grammy was the most loving and kind person, and I will always cherish these memories.
