Obituary of Richard Arthur Lawrence

Lawrence, Richard Arthur 81 of Kentville formerly of Bridgetown passed away July 3, 2021 in Evergreen Home For Special Care, Kentville. Born in Liverpool he was a son of the late Arthur and Mary (White) Lawrence. Richard was a janitor at Bridgetown Regional Elementary School for many years. He was a member of the Salvation Army. He is survived by his daughter Marcia “Mart” (Howard) Wheaton of New Minas, step granddaughter Kathleen Storey of Kentville, step great grandson Aiden Stark of Kentville, daughter by choice Patricia (Donald) Silver of Bridgetown; sister Beulah Turnage of South Carolina; brother Earl Lawrence of Liverpool; sister-in-law Diane Stevenson and brother-in-law Ray Stevenson; several nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his wife Violet, sisters Virginia, Barbara and Noella. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown where funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with Major Paul Blake officiating. Covid-19 restrictions will apply. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Donations in Richard’s memory may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Society.
