Obituary of Margaret Lillian Horsfall

Horsfall, Margaret Lillian – 93, of Annapolis Royal, passed away August 4, 2021, in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Annapolis Royal. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late George and Jean (Muir) Thomas. She was a graduate of the University of Kings College; a member of St. Luke’s Sanctuary Guild, Annapolis Royal Field Naturalists and Clements Historical Society. She enjoyed dancing and was a dancer with the House of Roth Lorettes. Margaret enjoyed researching family history, reading, painting and sewing. She is survived by her sons, John Horsfall, Lequille; David (Rose) Horsfall, Ontario and Barrie (Angela) Horsfall, Middleton; grandchildren, Aaron and Nathan; great grandson, Ethan. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilmer Arthur Horsfall (2010); son, Wilmer “Bill” Horsfall and sister, Violet Braggs. Following Margarets wishes there will be no visitation. COVID 19 restrictions will be followed. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday August 21, 2021, in St. Lukes Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal, with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, Dugway Road. Donations made in memory may be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
