My darling Big Brother, what a fighter, what a friend but most of all brother to me his baby sister. No more will I be able to pick up the phone and hear that voice saying "hey Suz", my life has been enriched by his never ending devotion to his siblings, his parents and his very own family and friends. We shared many good times over the years and he certainly helped me when I had to cope with my husband's cancer. Needless to say he at times was my pillar of strength. Thank you Bob for your guidance, laughter and at times stern words, all out of love and concern. Missing you will be hard, but loving you was with always at ease. Love and Peace always, Suzy xo

We are saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Due to extensive travelling recently, we unfortunately only heard about his passing 40 minutes before the Service Celebrating Bob's Life, and were unable to attend. Thom will miss the many times that Bob would stop and talk to him during his regular walks and he always had a cheerful greeting, regardless of how he was feeling. He would always say to him, "How are you doing Thom," and it was never just a throw-away greeting, he really wanted to know and would stop and talk about how you were feeling and never about himself. Bob was a "fixture" at our "condo community" here at Cornwallis Park, and as one of our first residents, he and Dianne helped lay a strong foundation for our growing community. It was my pleasure, as President of our Association last year, to play tribute to Bob during our Annual Meeting. I noted at that time how Bob did the same amount of work in the early years of our community that today requires several contractors and dozens of workers. Without the tireless effort of Bob during those early years, I daresay our "condo community" may not have survived. Our prayers are with Bob's family and pray that they may be blessed in countless ways as they mourn the passing of a man who has blessed and gladdened the hearts of more people than they could ever know. (Thom and Sue Corbett)

It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of my dear brother Bob. Our bond was strong and I could always count on him for love and support, encouragement and inspiration. Bob was always there to lend a helping hand and a soothing voice. Bob always brought positive energy and made you feel good about yourself.
There were many times throughout my life that I was able to reach out to Bob for guidance and good counsel. He always had a clear and practical way of seeing things. Bob was good at stating the obvious, pointing out the relative strengths and weaknesses of a situation and did so with ease and good humour.
Above all, Bob was good company. You could always count on him to bring the sane, the objective, the funny and the enjoyable to the table of life.
I am proud and grateful to be his sister. In true Bob fashion, he fought the good fight, made his peace and did so with grace and dignity. Bob, you left a large footprint in this world.

I was so sorry to read of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful person, I always enjoyed any of the times we all spent together, typically a RAPA function. I have no doubt he will be sorely missed by all, but take comfort in the many happy memories you have shared with him.
