Dear Langley family,
I worked with Jim at Cornwallis. And a pleasure to work with,a true gentleman.A great sense of humor, and I never knew he was a veteran - thank you Sir for your service.
Jim the boys who have gone on before to the new fire hall will be waiting for you, I believe you are the last of the gang that were there in the Cornwallis hall when I arrived in November 1980.
Rest in peace old comrade,
Jim McLaren,Antigonish.

Sincere condolences to Jim's family. He was such a kind man, affable, witty in a quiet way and a great ham radio operator. We (4 of us) had a memorable trip to Dayton Ohio (Mecca of the ham world) in 1990 in that wonderful Crown Victoria station wagon! Lots of laughs and adventures along the way. " ... -.- . ."
