There are so many memories of good times together and many good laughs. One of the funniest is of Isabell and Anne Marie Pearl deciding to better control the cat population by reducing the numbers of kittens recently born. Whatever their method, about the time they were finishing the job, the kittens began coming back to life. It is our hope that Isabell has been reborn to a new life and someday we will all be together again!

There are so many lovely memories and stories of Isabel among Keith's cousins and their children - the Greer clan.
Keith's Uncle Johnnie and his wife Dodie loved her very much as did Keith's Aunt Margaret- his mother's sister.
Margaret often spoke of Keith telling her that he'd fallen in love with a lovely girl who lived in Quebec and was going to ask her to marry him. Aunt Margaret was very curious to know who had won her nephew's heart and whether wooing her was worth the long, long trips from Nova Scotia. As soon as she met Isabel she certainly understood.
My mother, Dodie, treasured the quilted hanging that Isabel gave her. I'm sure there are many others who felt the same about Isabel's work. She was indeed an artist.
It was always a joy when Isabel and Keith were able to come to Greer family gatherings - sometimes with Heather and Brian and always with one of their puppies.
It was great to be able to be Isabel's friend on Facebook these past several years and see photos of her remarkable quilts and, especially, her absolute joy so obvious in pictures with the grandchildren.
We all loved her and were shocked and saddened to hear of her death. She remains in our hearts.
Love to you all, Cousin Anne

Our deepest sympathy to Keith and family. Isabell had a nervous distinctive laugh that I will always remember fondly. She was the type of person who would laugh after everything she said. She was a gifted quilter with a keen eye for colour, texture and design. I didn't know her as a teacher, but if she put the same effort in to her students as she did quilting, they were blessed. She was a long-time member of the Paradise Women's Institute and one of the many quilters who put together a quilt each year for us to fund raise. I met Isabell in 1995, when she was President of PWI; I attended my first meeting in her house. For over 20 years, her participation in the annual quilt project helped us raise much needed funds for the community. So many wonderful organization benefited from those funds. I would say, making an annual quilt was probably her idea. There were many people over the years who looked forward to buying tickets on a Paradise Women's Institute quilt. So anyone who has a quilt made by her hands has a bit of her heart and soul. I know I have wall hangings that I had purchased from her when she started her quilting business that I will remember her by. Isabell always spoke highly of her kids and her grandkids so cherish those quilts. You may not realize it now, but you were so lucky to have had a grandmother who quilted for you. Take care of yourselves and each other and we hope your fond memories will help you through this difficult time.

We were shocked and terribly saddened to read of Isabell's passing. How can it be? A few short months ago she was well and buoying me up. Now that terrible disease has claimed another soul. Such a wonderful woman, so talented and a great friend. We always had great fun together at our dominoes get-togethers. Isabell will be missed by many, especially her loving family. Our deepest sympathy is sent to Keith her dear husband and her children. Delia and Malcolm
