So sorry to hear this sad news, only just learning of it now.
I live in Indonesia, Linda used to post off books to me as and when I purchased one. My daughter Clare introduced me to Linda and her books.
I just took "Untying The Knot" down to read a second time and thought to drop Linda a line, we used to exchange mails now and again but not for some time. Could not recall where she was living last time she wrote, Lanarkshire I believe , so looked it up, first thing I saw was her obituary, really shocked me. Will save the unfinished mail in my Linda Gillard folder.
Again, so very sorry for your loss. Barry

I will always remember Linda. She was one of the best nurses that ever worked at Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. She was kind, compassionate and ever so caring while looking after the residents. She was always looking out for her coworkers, helping them when she could. Her family was her world. I know she absolutely loved her grandchildren. David, you were her rock. The love between the two of you was so evident. May the happy memories you shared help sustain you as you carry on your life without her. Rest in peace Dear Linda.

To lose a loved one is always hard, but to lose a wife, a mother, and my big sister, takes the heart right out of you.
I will always remember her taking me along with her when I was a young child. I’ll never forget her taking me to my first Neptune theatre experience as a young boy.
She always showed kindness to everyone. Her door was always open.
I will miss her dearly.
To Dave and the girls, my heartfelt condolences during your grief. The woman you lost was exceptional and one of a kind. I pray God helps heal your pain.

My condolences to the family of Dave and Linda. Sheila and I have been very good friends for many years. Over the years I have met and been with Sheila‘s mother and father on several occasions. What struck me when I was with them was how much love there was between Dave and Linda. You could tell that she was much loved by her whole family. This will be a very hard time for the family but memories of Linda will help to ease the pain.

My condolences to the family. So very sorry for your loss. Linda was a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of working with her at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. She was such a joy to work with and a funny lady who was a good head when it came to practical jokes. You will be dearly missed Linda. RIP my friend.
