James “David” Holland, 86, of Upper Granville, passed away at North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia on Feb 19th 2022. Born in Saint John NB, David is predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Melinda Margo, and parents Evelyn & Lawson Mowry. Survived by son Michael (Angela) of Windsor, son Larry (Karen) of Beaconsfield; granddaughters: Tonya, Carissa and Kimberly Sutherland and grandsons: Aaron and Ryan Holland
David was a quiet, hardworking man who lived a simple life and kept to himself. If he wasn’t in the woods or processing wood at the mill, you would find David with a guitar or harmonica in hand, playing a bluegrass tune. He had a soft spot for animals and enjoyed hunting and camping with family.
David will be laid to rest alongside Melinda and trusty companion Gibby in the Wadeville Cemetery, in Granville Center. Donations in memory can be made to North Queens Nursing Home. Online condolence may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
