Obituary of Lloyd Rodney Cashman
Cashman, Lloyd Rodney- 89 of Lequille passed away August 18th, 2022 at the Annapolis Royal Community Health Centre.
Born September 11th 1932. Son of Frank Cashman and Ethel (Potter) Cashman.
Lloyd is survived by his son Rodney Cashman of Lequille, daughter Susan Cashman (Paul) of Princedale, granddaughters Tamara Cashman (Brad) of Lake LaRose, Fallon Cashman (Robbie) of Digby. Great grandchildren Jayden, Khloe, Mason and Landon.
Lloyd made Lequille his home and was proud to start his family with his beloved wife Joyce (Saunders) Cashman, married in 1956. They took over the family business in 1968 F.L Cashman and Son Ltd, where he was a merchant for over 30 years. They both enjoyed many years at Sandy Bottom Lake sharing beautiful memories with family and friends at the cottage. He had a passion for flowers and gardening. From a young age he loved hunting and fishing, sharing many of his cherished stories. Lloyd touched many people throughout his lifetime, helping anyone in need and giving a good laugh by putting his hat on sideways, showing his silly side. He will be greatly missed as a loving father, grandfather, and friend.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A visitation will be held 7-9pm Tuesday August 23 from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home with a private graveside service being held for close family and friends 11am Wednesday August 24, 2022 in St. Albans Cemetery, by invite only.
