Obituary of Brenden Matthew Magarvey
Brenden Matthew Magarvey
March 25, 1982- December 5, 2022
It is with much sadness that Brenden’s family announces his passing in a car accident on December 5, 2022. He leaves to mourn the light of his life daughter Sophia, his devoted parents Rodney and Nancy Magarvey, his older siblings: Julie (Reid), Neville and Nathan (Anna). He was Uncle Bren to Garvin, Jessalyn, Wyatt, Sullivan, Kieran and Olivia. He will be fondly remembered by many friends, namely his lifelong buddy Bronson Chute and his co-workers. He was predeceased by a sister Tanya and grandparents Edith and Donald in whose home he resided.
Brenden was a lifelong resident of Parkers Cove and graduated from high school at AWEC. He also completed a diploma at NSCC. He was employed in the fishing industry at Delap’s Cove Fisheries.
Brenden will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul. His favorite thing was to spend time with his daughter. They shared a love of music and enjoyed many concerts and music festivals together. Brenden loved to golf and enjoyed many rounds at Fort View Golf Course. He was also a devoted Pittsburg Penguins fan and followed Sydney Crosby’s stats avidly. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday Dec. 10, 2022 at the Parkers Cove Baptist Church with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Parker Mountain Cemetery. Donations in Brenden’s memory may be sent to the Parkers Cove Baptist Church or to the Parker Mountain Cemetery. On line condolences may be sent at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
