Obituary of Goldie Marie Vidito

Vidito, Goldie Marie – 87, of Bridgetown passed away surrounded by her family January 8, 2023. Born on May 25, 1935, she was the daughter of Alberta and Warren Fredericks.

Goldie could often be seen on her daily walk to town, always stopping to visit the Salvation Army and the Variety Store, which she enjoyed. She was known for her quiet, gentle ways, but she always looked forward to the family social gatherings. She loved to get out and be around people.

Goldie is survived by son Victor (Melinda) Vidito, Upper Granville; daughters, Roxanne ‘Bunny’ Lasko, and Darlene Vidito (Adair Potter) Bear River; grandchildren, Adrian (Leah) and Jonathan (Wendy) Healy, Kaylee (Nathan) Proulx, Rebecca and Benjamin (Becky) Vidito; great grandchildren, Ryan, Mack, Jake; sister, Audrey Young; brothers, Warren Fredericks, Jack Fredericks, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Goldie was predeceased by husband, Clayton; sisters, May Harris, Joan Hannam.

A visitation will be held 7-9pm Thursday, with a funeral service 2pm, Friday January 13, 2023 both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Pastor Cathy Batson officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery. Reception will follow service at the funeral home. Donations in Goldie’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
