I only just learned of Bruce's passing. He played bass in my band. He was very keen and really enjoyed our practices and gigs, up and down the Annapolis Valley. I really enjoyed Bruce's company and will remember him most fondly.
Condolences to the family.

To Brent, Leonard, Anne-Marie, Melissa and Betty,
So sorry to hear of Bruce’s passing. Hoping you all are reflecting on cherished memories of him. I have been thinking of stories, and events from my childhood years involving Bruce, and have a lot of fond memories for sure. Camping, fishing, hunting (if you could call it that), your dads cool blue Le Mans, and him doing brake stands in the parking lot at St Gerard’s church! He certainly was the cool dad to me! Hopefully your own memories bring comfort at this difficult time. Keeping Bruce and family in our prayers.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Bruce. Sincere condolences to his family. I can recall lots of fund memories of Bruce growing up in Lequille, NS, We both played pond hockey together at Harry’s Pond, plus playing on our High School hockey team, and then on the Lequille Bears hockey team. One summer we were part of a group of 4 student janitors hired to clean our school (ARRA). I last saw Bruce in 2009 during the ARRA school reunion. This gave us the opportunity to play golf at the Digby Pines golf course. R.I.P. my friend.

Thanks for the kind words Barrie. I'm thinking that you and I have probably met, perhaps when I was younger and on vacation. I'm going to be in Annapolis the nights of April 19 and 20. Perhaps we could meet up and share some stories.
If you contact the funeral home they could put us in touch.
Regards,
Leonard Forcey (Bruce's second oldest son)

I’m very sad to hear this news. My husband Roger and I were his neighbours and friends in Cornwallis. I have great memories of them sharing their love of golf and our love of music. I hope these two great friends are together again. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My deepest condolences go out to all of Bruce's family. Bruce was my first cousin but I don't believe that I have seen him since I was a child. It's not good when you lose contact with family ... My father was Arthur Forcey, a brother to Earl, Clyde and Bertha. I have very fond memories of visiting with all the families in Lequille as a child. That was a long, long time ago. It's hard to lose someone so close to you but keep all your great memories close to your heart.
Thinking of you,
Margaret (Forcey) Murphy
