Kopulos: Mabel Irene (Nancy) - 93 went to be with Her Lord, May 3, 2012 at the Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Her final illness was only a matter of a few hours. Born in Tupperville, Annapolis County she was the daughter of Robert (Nellie Elizabeth Everson) Baker. She was the last of the family, having been predeceased by her parents, sister Mae, and brother Warren. Nancy received her early education at the one room school in Tupperville and Senior Year in Bridgetown. During the war Nancy went to Halifax to work and gain further education in office work. It was in Calgary that she met and married Crist Kopulos of Three Hills, Alberta. They returned to the Family Farm in Tupperville, then to South Williamston and finally to Round Hill. During the past five years Nancy was a resident of Grace Haven located in Bridgetown East. Many thanks for the loving care and support given to her by Donna Hatt and her team. Nancy felt completely at home because of their dedicated friendship. Nancy was an avid gardener and was most generous with her ample crops and knowledge of gardening. With this knowledge Nancy was able to turn ordinary foods into sumptuous banquets. Nancy cherished a deep love for her many four legged companions and was found supporting the local animal shelters. Throughout her life Nancy showed great ability with words and this presented itself in the last few years of her life. In 2010 she published her first book "The Long Bridge", and in 2012 she published the sequel to this book titled "Love is Forever". At the time of her passing Nancy was busily writing her third novel, which was to be a Mystery.
