Obituary of Theresa Anne Chute

Theresa Anne Chute  (June 15, 1951- July 26, 2023) Of Hillsburn, passed away peacefully with her loving husband of 52 years and family by her side at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.

Born in Digby, she was the daughter of Harold and the late Lucy (Coakley) Murphy of Digby.

Theresa’s life passion was to care for people, working many years doing home care. She had a great love for people, especially her own family, who meant the world to her. She loved the Lord, and attended church as often as she could. She loved spending time her gardens that spread all over her and Clarence’s property. In her down time she loved reading and baking; also being baking leader for 4H.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Clarence; children, Leaman (Angela), Lillie (Kevin) Wallage; foster daughter, Heather Wade; grandchildren, Tiffany, Sarah (Wesley), Dustin, Jessica (Jenn), Cassandra (Austin), Alison, Nathan and Neil (Carrie); great grandchildren, Rylan, Ethan, Griffan, Summer, Payton, Payge, and Ben; brother, Gary Murphy; sisters, Jeanette Halliday and Krista Murphy; and her beloved dog, Buddy.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held 11am Wednesday August 2, 2023 from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Pastor Josiah Cormier officiating. Interment will follow in the Delaps Cove-Litchfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Annapolis Community Health Care Palliative Care.
