George helped me out several times when I had cash register problems. I particularly remember the time my husband and I were away, our registered died and our daughter, with no experience in such things, was tasked to buy one and get it running ASAP. George was so good with her and got everything working for her so the store in Freeport didn't have to rely on pencil and paper an other day. He was such a good kind man. My sincere sympathy to all his family.

How well I remember the visits from George to where I worked in Digby. How many times he helped us with the "Cash register". Such a pleasant personality. Makes me smile when I look at his picture in fond remembrance. For the family, go forward with great memories.

Shirley Power: My deepest sympathy goes out to Judy and the family at this time. Losing someone you love is not easy. Even though we know that one day they'll awaken it still hurt inside the heart. May you all take comfort in the days ahead knowing that George will be back better than the way he left. Revelation 21:4

One of the funniest things that I remember, is when I stayed overnight as a young girl with George and Judy, and in the middle of the night, there was a sound like a train coming right through the bedroom, and I was out of the bed and standing on the other side of the door in no time flat!!! George had hooked up a tape to make it sound like the freight train and they got a good laugh, and actually, so did I, once I got over the shock! Had the best weekend with them. ❤️

George became a part-time, live-in grampa for our two youngest sons around 1990 in Shubenacadie. He was working in Truro, would stay with us through the week, man the barbeque in the evenings, then go home to Judy on the weekends. It was just a short-term arrangement, but we enjoyed it while it lasted.
We remember George for his kindness, one of the fruits of the spirit. May Jehovah prove to be the "God of all comfort" to you. https://tinyurl.com/ptwn322p

Dearest Judy and family,George was one of my best friends and brothers in the truth. We had a special bond through the years, working together in his business and at assemblies and conventions. In business he and I had a special relationship and worked together very well.I certainly will miss George in my life until Jehovah through Jesus resurrects George back to life here on earth to be with family and friends once again who loved him so much, just as Jesus promises at John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29.I would always say ,see you later George when we parted after visiting, so once again to my dearest friend I say see you later George but this time in Jehovah's promised new order. All my love to Judy and family plus Linda's love as well.Blair Jess

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will never forget George, he gave me an early interest in computers and office equipment that I never knew I had, and I used that in my career for years.
He gave me a love for cooking outdoors too, he was the first person I knew that cooked with what I thought were rocks at the time (briquettes). :)
I'll never forget the love he and his family showed my family when we were neighbors in the 80s and 90s. Sledding down his backyard and building tunnels, riding bikes in his yard with Becky, them taking me in when my parents were at work...oh there are so many other memories, I could go on for hours.
He will be missed. My love and hugs to you all during this difficult time. <3 <3

One of Terry's favorite hobbies was to go golfing with "The Boys!" Although his skills needed "tweeking" somewhat, just to be with the guys was a joy for him! However, I would have to say, his favorite partner was George who would be so good natured even when Terry had a hard job keeping up. It became a standard joking expression as they would finish and return home: "Hit the ball, drag Terry!, Hit the ball, drag Terry!"
Terry always knew George jested in love and never turned down an opportunity to do it again! It was so much fun just to be with George!

My thoughts and prayers goes out to Judy and the family , George met so much to me personally as i know he did for many others , He along with Judy showed me personal attention as to helping me spiritually and he did this for many others to. George as well as Judy helped me to to understand and appreciate the importance of bible study and how to stay close to our God Jehovah...How I enjoyed sharing some family study nights with George and Judy and our fun times together that I will cherish for years to come .. Death is a real enemy for all of us as we continue in this old system ran by Satan . I look forward to seeing him again in the near future when death and sickness will be no more . I share with a very heavy heart along with all of you the pain of losing George . My Condolences to Judy and Family, Love you all ...
