Obituary of Christina Joan Fox
Christina "Tina" Joan Fox (78) passed away on the evening of November 28, 2023 in her home with family at her bedside. Born in Birmingham, England, and raised alongside her younger siblings in Lawrencetown and Upper Granville, Nova Scotia, she lived much of her life in Annapolis County.
She is pre-deceased by her husband, George Fox, and her parents, Thomas and Norah (Landen) Morrison. She is survived by her three sisters, Sandy Reese, Linda Phinney, Debbie Verran, her brother, Peter Morrison, her son, Gef, her daughter, Nora-Jane, and grandchildren, Shirah and Gavin.
She is remembered for her boundless heart and tireless dedication to family and friends alike, whether as a caring auntie, a kindly cashier at the Bridgetown Pharmasave, an enthusiastic cribbage and dart player with the Royal Canadian Legion, or with any other hat she wore.
A special thank you goes out to Dr. Ken Buchholz for countless years of care for Christina, and thanks as well to each and every nurse and CCA who visited her home during these last two years for providing not only quality care, but also being a daily source of friendly faces for someone who enjoyed the company of others.
Cremation has taken place, as was her wish, under the care and consideration of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 7th at 11AM. Donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, your local food bank, or even simply a kind deed to someone who needs it.
