We are so sorry to hear of Edie's passing, our condolences to her family. Jim and I lived above Edie and Harold for a number of years when she was superintendent of our apartment building and every year just before New Years Eve she would come to our door and let us know that she was having some friends over on NYE and Harold would be playing the fiddle and they would be partying so let her know if they were getting too loud. What a lovely soul she was, she will be missed by so many. RIP dear Edie. Bea & Jim Johnson

Dear Edie You were part of our family from the time I was small . I remember the great times first at your house as babysitting me . Playing with your kids and having fun while Mom was at school . Then being the Bested friend to my Mother , she always said you were sisters . It was so nice when you could live so close and be there to help Mom with Nanny P and then also helped her it times of need A very special soul indeed we love you and will miss you .. We met Edith when she started coming to clementsvale baptist church , what a sweet, friendly lady . We looked for every Sunday. And I got a few recipes from her. We surely missed her smiling face when she had to stop coming . We are glad we got a chance to meet this little sweetheart. Condolences and prayers to all her family and friends .
