Obituary of Jacob John Roy Cook-Merlin
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacob John Roy Cook Merlin, who was born in Kentville on December 23rd, 1997. He tragically left this world in Annapolis on May 7th, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many.
Jake's memory will forever be cherished by his mother Yvonne Corkum (Jeff), father John Merlin (Pam), sisters Jami Cress (Johnathan), Kelly Cook(Ryan) and Sydney Hersey; nieces Kamryn, Brooklyn, and Sadie; nephew Mason; maternal grandparents James & Gloria Cook; aunts Anna, Doris, Shirley; uncles Jim, Mike, Roy, Steven; cousins James Merlin, James Cook, Culton, Dylan, Shelby, Andrew, and Jesse. He is predeceased by step-father Tony Corkum; step grandparents, Chriss and Wayne Corkum.
Even as a small child, Jake always loved to make others happy and boy, wasn't he so good at making someone laugh. His heart was so big and pure, always willing to help out anyone that was in need. The passion Jake had for fishing and music is unmatched and how most people will forever remember him by.
A celebration of Jakes Life will be held 1pm Saturday May 18, 2024 at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Curtlen Peck officiating. Donations in memory may be sent to the Go Fund Me page linked below. Online condolence may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
