Thomas, Sharon Anne, 66 of Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., passed away July 4, 2012, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Halifax, she is the daughter of the late Harold and Eleanor (MacDonald Roy) Gorman. Sharon is survived by her husband Ronald; son, Jerome of Inglisville; daughters, Paula Gaetz of Dartmouth, Shelley McDonald of New Minas, and Holly (Scott) Kent of Dartmouth 12 grandchildren; brothers, Edward "Ted", John "Jack", William "Bill", sisters, Geraldine, Barbara, Joan, and Veronica. She was predeceased by brothers, Harold, Leo, Thomas; sister, Shirley; and sisters, Beverly and Mary both in infancy. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother and best friend who will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. with funeral service being held Monday at 2:00 p.m. all from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown followed by a reception at the funeral home.
