Crossland, Violet Viola - 73, Milford, passed away July 6, 2012 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Hubley) Selig. Some of Violets greatest loves were her poodle Mitzy, and bingo, which she played eight times a week in her earlier years. Survived by her daughter, Velvet Melanson, Greywood; son, Eric (Tracey) Crossland, Milford; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Wilbert, Tatamagouche; sisters, Myra, Middleton; Helen and Elizabeth both of West Berlin, Queens Co. Predeceased by her husband, Enos; son, Ricky; brothers, Alvin, George, Gerald, Charles and Earl. Visitation will be 7-9pm Tuesday with a funeral service held at 2pm Wednesday July 11, 2012 both the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal, with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Hill cemetery. Donations in Violet's memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
