Obituary of Ruth Ramey

Kaulbach Family Funeral Home Obituary Ramey, Ruth Caroline, 87 of Bridgetown passed away July 9, 2012 in Soldiers memorial hospital, Middleton. Born in Parrsboro she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (Smith) Moore. Ruth was a devoted member of the Salvation Army for many years. She was the Home League Secretary for 35 years and a member of the League of Mercy. She is survived by daughters, Margaret Ruth (Everett) Richards of Berwick; Linda Shannon of Halifax; sons, Stephen Kay of Halifax and David (Bonnie) Kay of Ohio; grandchildren, Kimberly Whitman, John and Brian Banks, Ruth Lavergne, Rebecca Wilson and Robert Brown; 17 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husbands Chipman Kay and Reginald Ramey, grandson, Stephen; brothers, Jim and Robert; sister, Joyce. Visitation was held Tuesday evening at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. today at the Salvation Army Citadel, Bridgetown with Major Norman Hamelin officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown.
