Obituary of Carl Golding

Golding,Carl LeRoy, 77 of Bear River, passed away Saturday September 8, 2012 at home. Born in Saint John, NB he was a son of the late Charles LeRoy and Edna May (Darres) Golding. He was employed with Agriculture Canada for 30 years in Port Williams, NS; Sussex and Fredericton, NB. Carl enjoyed music and was a member of the Bear River Baptist Church where he was also a choir member, deacon and teller. Carl was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Bear River Branch. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice; son, Barry (Carrie) of Fredericton; daughters, Darlene (Paul) Blanchette of Fredericton, Elaine May (Ken) Brown of Pittsfield, Maine; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; stepsons, Brian, Stanley and Todd; stepdaughter, Gladys; brother, Wayne of Whitecourt, Alberta; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother Edward; aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. A memorial service will be held Thursday September, 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bear River Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Waterman officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
