Holland, Melinda Margo, 76, of Upper Granville passed away in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on September 22, 2012. Born in New Ross she was a daughter of the late Percy and Thelma Swinimer. She is survived by her husband David ; sons: Michael (Angela) of Windsor, Larry (Linda) of Beaconsfield; sisters: Gloria Marshall of Halifax, Carol Wood of Aylesford; step sister Anne (Donald) Taylor; grandchildren: Aaron and Ryan; 5 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brother Maxwell, step-mother Sylvia (Hogan) Swinimer and step sister Joan Garnet. Melinda will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in Wadeville Cemetery, Granville Center with Rev. Joel Hardy officiating. Family flowers only.
