Obituary of Karl J. Oxner

Oxner, Karl John - 65, Bridgetown. Suddenly, while laughing with his nurse Karl passed away October 17, 2012, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. He was the son of Jean and the late Karl Oxner, Mahone Bay. Survived by his mother, Jean; soul mate and life partner, Carol Joan Bell; sons, Neil (Sonia Saulnier) and two beautiful grandchildren Karla and Piper all of Canmore, Alberta; Christopher, U.S.A.; best friend Bill Nixon; nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his sister, Gladys J. Baker (August 20, 2012). It was Karl's wish that this announcement be short and to the point. He was a tissue and organ donor and following Karl's wish there will be no public visitation or funeral service. He knew his friends would remember their times together as they shared a coffee at Tim Horton's. Mya sits in the window awaiting her masters' return. A private family burial will take place in Mahone Bay at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bridgetown. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of Annapolis Community Health Centre, Emergency Department, Valley Regional Hospital, the paramedics, and Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown, and especially Dr. Grant Goodine for the care they gave Karl - We are truly grateful.
