Obituary of Paul F Longmire

Longmire, Paul Franklyn, 72 of Parkers Cove passed away tragically in a motor vehicle accident in Youngs Cove, Annapolis Co., October 27, 2012 along with his twin brother Morris Eugene Longmire. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was a son of the late Irving and Jean (Robinson) Longmire. Paul was a member of the Parkers Cove Baptist Church. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his twin Morris at the wharf, fish plant, cutting firewood, social times at Double "D" and camping in the summer. He is survived by his wife Loretta; sons, Jeffrey of Parkers Cove, Jeremy of Drayton Valley, Alberta and Jamie of Smiths Cove; step-son, Andrew (Kristi) Dobson of Hammonds Plains, step-daughters, Kimberly (Andrew) Ashcroft of Hammonds Plains and Pamela (Kevin) Boutilier of South Rawdon; grandchildren, Tyler and Kendra Longmire, Joel, Shelby Longmire, Adrianna Grant, Tasha and Katie Longmire, Kassidy and Miranda Boutilier, Tyler and Nicholas Ashcroft, Emma and Luke Dobson; brothers, Walter of Granville Ferry and Karl (Loretta) of Hillsburn; sisters, Norma (Gerald) Oliver of Parkers Cove and Angela (David) Burnie of Hillsburn. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Beverly and twin brother Morris. Visitation will be held Wednesday October 31, 2012 at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday Nov. 1, 2012 from the Parkers Cove Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff George officiating. Burial will be in the Parker Mountain Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be sent to the Parkers Cove Baptist Church, Parker Mountain Cemetery or Hillsburn Cemetery.
