Burbridge, Bruce R. - 84 of Bridgetown, Annapolis Co., passed away November 3, 2012, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Leonard A. and Violet (MacAulay) Burbridge. He was employed with Revenue Canada for 14 years and later worked for Acadian Distillers and was a self employed accountant. Bruce was an avid golfer, member of Eden Golf and Country Club, loved to ride his motorcycle and play pool with the boys. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Everett); stepchildren, Wendy (Brian) Anderson, Port Hawksbury; John (Cindy) MacAleese and Jaye MacAleese, Bridgetown; seven grandchildren and one great grandson; brother, Garth Burbridge, Spryfield; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by stepdaughter, Judith MacAleese; brothers, Lloyd "Bud" and Robert. No visitation by request. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation service, Bridgetown. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown, where he will rest beside his stepdaughter, Judith. Family flowers only.
