Obituary of Caleb Veinott

VEINOTT, Caleb Archibald- 85, passed away with his family by his side Thursday, March 3, 2011, in the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building, Halifax. Born in Granville, he was the son of the late William and Melviena (Chute) Veinott. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing practical jokes. He loved his animals and enjoyed the challenge of lexicons and crypaquotes. Caleb was the loving father to Sandra Eisner (David) of Beaconsfield, Susan Veinott of Beaver Bank, Bruce (Joanne Hudson) of Centrelea, Scott of Centrelea and Patty Taylor (Todd) of Beaconsfield. Beloved grandfather to Darren Eisner, Karen Weatherby (Blair), Zachery, Logan and Jacob Taylor; great grandfather to Emma, Madison and Braeden Weatherby. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia; brothers, Allen, William; sisters, Alberta Fredericks and Elizabeth Durling. Visitation will be held Monday, March 7 from 7-9 pm from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with the funeral being held Tuesday at 2 pm from the Centrelea Baptist Church with Rev. David Cumby officiating. Interment in the Centrelea Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society (Lewy Bodies).
