Bent, Laura Elsie. 92, of Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown formerly of Hampton passed away December 15, 2012 in the lodge. Born in Youngs Cove, Anna. Co. she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Hilda (Blarkem) Bent. Laura lived in Hampton for 19 years with Don & Marilyn O'Neal before moving to the lodge. She was an avid card player and loved homemade bread with molasses. She is survived by a son, Harold (Gail) of Phinney Cove and a daughter, Marion of Bridgetown. She was predeceased by brothers, Stanley, Gerald and Maxwell; sisters, Mildred Durling and Pauline Hudson. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. There will be no service by request.
