Atwell, Kenneth Robert - 75, Middleton. "A Good Man' was called home to be with his Savior on December 23, 2012. Born on September 13, 1937, in Summerville, N.B. He was the son of the late John Roy and Grace Lillian (Atkinson) Atwell. Kenneth spent 6 months in Labrador, Newfoundland working on Grandfalls Power Project; spent three years in the Air Force; seven years employed by Mark A. Leonards Ltd.; and worked for 27 years at C.F.B. Cornwallis Fire Department. He loved to talk to people especially the "Jams". He will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Marie (Oliver); children, Roger (Darlene), Roundhill and Sandra Walker (Lester), Paradise; grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda), Lawrencetown; Gary (Megan), Bridgetown and Dale, West Paradise; great granddaughter, Felicia; great grandson, Zakary; sister, Joan (Royce) Graves, Moncton; sister-in-laws, Lillian Atwell and Frances Atwell. He was predeceased by brothers, Ronald, Allan and Gordon. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. No visitation by request. Family flowers only. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, December 28, 2012, in First United Baptist Church, Annapolis Royal, with Pastor Seth Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lequille. Donations made in Kenneth's memory may be sent to Canadian Cancer Society or Victorian Order of Nurses.
