Obituary of Kathleen Wilson

Wilson, Kathleen Elizabeth, 96 of Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown formerly of West Paradise, Anna. Co passed away March 18, 2011 in the lodge. Born in Tewkesbury, England she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Curtis) Cook. Kay was a British Home Child from the Middlemore Home for Children in Birmingham, England. She was an avid quilter, marathon bridge player, was active in the local seniors groups and was very active in her church. She also was a 4-H leader and loved to entertain people in her home. She is survived by sons: Gilbert ( Deenie) of St. George, N.B.; John of West Paradise; daughter Margaret Ann (Gerry) Bastie of West Paradise; 5 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren sister-in-law Nina Harrison of Woodstock, NB, numerous nieces and nephews from NB, BC, Alberta, England and Florida Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Alexander, sisters: Doris, Violet, Georgina "Tina", and Edna; brothers: Dennis, Allen "Slim", William and Gilbert; sister-in-law Inez Cook (special friend); brothers-in-law John Harrison, Jim Smith and Paul O'Brien. Cremation has taken place . Visitation will be held 7-9 P.M. Monday from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday from St. James Anglican Church, Bridgetown with Rev. Liz Earley officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Anglican Cemetery.
