Obituary of Lois Simms

Simms, Lois Elaine - 86, of West Paradise, Annapolis Co., passed peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. She was the fourth child of the late Robert Bath Bent and Leila (Poole) Bent of West Paradise, born January 16, 1927. Lois personified love and devotion. She leaves those legacies to her grieving daughters, Elaine Simms, Middleton; Patricia (and Roy) Mansfield, West Paradise; Barbara (and Bill) Woodworth, Clayton Park. Cherished grandsons left behind are Larry Mansfield, Dieppe, NB; Lee Mansfield, Dartmouth; William Woodworth, Bedford, and Christopher Woodworth (fiancee Tiffanie Lavers and their daughter, Lois's only great-grandchild, Hailey Marie, Clayton Park; sisters, Bernice (late Donald) Bowlby, West Paradise; Madelyn (Gerald) Patterson, Berwick, and Joan (Charles) Lane, Halifax; many nephews, nieces and cousins remain to mourn. You all know how much you meant to her. Lois was predeceased by brother, Donald (Dorothy) Bent; sisters, Marjorie (DeBlois) Walker, Freda (Rob) Lambright, and Martha Bent, and the love of her life, Arthur Dauphinee. Arrangements have been entrusted with Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. Cremation has taken place. No flowers by request. A celebration of Lois's life will be held at West Paradise Evergreen Church on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., Rev.
