Sweet, Michael Leroy (Blinkhorn, David A.), - 55, Kentville, passed away April 21, 2013 at home. He was the adopted son of Joyce and the late Rex Sweet. He was employed by Michelin for 10 plus years at the time of his death. Previously he worked for Guildfords, and before that, Beatons. He was a loving husband and father who will be sadly missed and will always be in our hearts. He is survived by his wife, Susan Rasmussen-Sweet; son, David Sweet and stepson, Adam Rasmussen; sisters, Kelly Sweet, Keri MacColloch, Susan Bowers; brother, Jeff Sweet; many nieces and nephews. No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Thursday April 25, 2013, in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal, with Rev. Elizabeth Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in Stoney Beach Cemetery. Donations in Michael's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation of Nova Scotia.
