Cress, Ethel Pearl - 80, Bridgetown, formerly of Clementsvale, passed away April 27, 2013, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Greenland, she was the daughter of the late Audrey and Beatrice (Hewey) Selig. Ethel resided in Mountain Lea Lodge for 16 years, where she was frequently seen reading her bible. Her greatest love in life was her family, to whom she loved to see come for a visit. She will be very sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Don Cress; daughters, Beverley Cress (Henry Johnston), Jo Ann (Kevin) MacDonald; grandchildren, Jillian, Ryan, Melissa, and Colin. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Cress; sisters, Evelyn Henshaw, Freda Nelson, Phyllis Farnsworth; brothers, Morris, Donald, Russell, Audrey. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday April 29, 2013, at the Clementsvale Gospel Hall, with Mr. James McClelland officiating. Burial to follow in the Clementsvale Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain Lea Lodge for their special care they gave Ethel over the time of her stay. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
