Wright, Mary M. "May", 72 of Upper Clements departed this world suddenly on April 6, 2011. Born in Salmon River on August 28, 1938, May was a daughter of the late Stanley and Hazel (Melanson) Saulnier. May grew up in Salmon River and lived most of her life in the area. She is survived by son, Stanley and granddaughter Tina (Shaun) Gallagher; sisters, Melina Saulnier, Edna (Henry) Thibault; brothers, Thomas (Anne) Melanson, Hector (Adrienne) Saulnier, Tommy (Gloryanne) Saulnier, Enos Saulnier; brother-in-law, Ernie Muise, several nieces and nephews. May was predeceased by sister, Leona and brother, Gilbert. May was a cherished employee of the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, a member of the Red Hatters, the Clementsport Hooking Club and a past member of TOPS. May was a true animal lover who looked after and cared for many animals. Most of all May was a very caring person who would do anything for anyone who needed something done. At May's request cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
