Gurnham, Bruce Harold - 64, of Hillsburn, Annapolis County, passed away October 12, 2013, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Connecticut, USA, he was a son of the late Hamilton and Martha (Whitman). Bruce had a kind and gentle soul; his booming laughter will be greatly missed. He made many friends; he would talk and talk and talk to anyone about anything. Bruce was a great photographer and loved to travel. Bruce is survived by his best friend, lover and soul mate, Nancy (Thiss); daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Crouse, Petite Riviere; granddaughter, Meghan Gurnham-Crouse; daughter, Heather Gurnham, Lequille; granddaughter, September Gurnham; son, Nathan, Ontario; brothers, Jim (Jackie) Henderson, Nevada; Jeff (Bonnie), South Carolina; Brian (Lois), Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Tuesday, October 15, in Parkers Cove Baptist Church, Parkers Cove, with Pastor Jeff George officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
