Bent, Mary Lenore, 81, of Annapolis Royal Nursing home formerly of Phinney Cove, Anna. Co. passed away Dec. 28, 2013 in the nursing home. Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Milford and Mary (Atkins) Munro. Mary was a foster parent for many years. She is survived by daughters, Linda (Reg) Heard of Bridgewater, Tanya (Michael) Anderson of Lequille; sons, Rodney of Phinney Cove and Tony of Alberta; foster daughter, Sandra (Darrell) Last of Port Wade; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; half-brother, George. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Earl; three grandchildren, three sisters and a brother. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday January 4, with a visitation being held from 1:00pm until service time, both from the Kaulbach family Funeral Home and Cremation service, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Herb Townsend officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery. Donations in Mary's memory may be sent to the Canadian Diabetic Association.
