Obituary of Beverly Leslie

Leslie, Beverly Ann - 46, Annapolis Royal, Annapolis Co. Beverly Ann Leslie was born on July 25, 1964 in Glace Bay Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, where she lived as a child until her family moved to British Columbia in 1974. With her family, she returned to Nova Scotia in 1976, and Bev has been a resident of the Annapolis Valley ever since. She relished the peaceful nature and beautiful grounds of her home in the town of Annapolis Royal. 1997 saw the birth of Beverly's son Jacob, who from that time forward, would remain the centre of her Universe and the focus of her love and devotion, which will forever abide. Throughout her life, family meant the most to Bev, to whom she remained always selfless and loving. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her, and will live on in our hearts forever. Beverly passed away on April 15, 2011, at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. She is predeceased by her mother, Lona Leslie; her father Lloyd Leslie; and her sister, Connie Leslie. She is survived by her son, Jacob Saulnier; her husband, Brian MacLean; her brothers, Dan and Scott Leslie (and their wives Dawn and Paula); her niece, Lindsay Leslie (and her partner Artem); her nephews Scott and Adam Leslie, and her grand nephew, Luka Rodin and step daughter Vanessa (Adam) and stepson Brad, and step grandson Colin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Annapolis Community Health Centre in Annapolis Royal. A reception will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Annapolis Royal on Tuesday, April 19 at 2 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal.
