Galvin, Almeta Mae "Alice", 77 of Bridgetown passed away Monday May 12, 2014 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in West Arlington she was a daughter of the late Louise Chute (Blanchard) and Amos Huntley. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed playing darts and especially loved children. She is survived by her husband Tom, sons: Bruce Reay, James (Heather) Reay all of Bridgetown, Alexander (Shirley) Reay of Beaver Lodge, Alberta; daughters: Doris (Jim) Wanke of Wembly, Alberta, Edith Watters of Camrose, Betty (Jerry) Deveau of Yarmouth; Step sons: Charles (Debbie) Reay of Hythe, Alberta, Harry (Giselle) Reay of Grand Prarie, David ( Bev) Reay of Dawson Creek, BC, step daughter: Sheena Peters of Grand Prarie, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 20 step grandchildren 50 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild; brother: Harold (Viola) Huntley of Bridgetown, sister Sharon Huntley of Trenton, ON, several nieces and nephews, uncles and cousins; father-in-law Paul Galvin, Montreal Alice was predeceased by her first husband William Reay, children: Donald, Allen, Roger, step children: Norman, Malcolm, Douglas, Billy, John and Alfred; two step grandchildren, sister Edna Ring. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 14, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service , Bridgetown with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. Interment will be in Port Wade Cemetery, Port Wade. Donations in Alice's memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, Bridgetown Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion or to the charity of one's choice.
