Strong, Edgar William, 76 of Round Hill passed away suddenly on May 22, 2014 at home. Born in Upper Granville, he was the son of the late Fred and Annie (MacNeill) Strong. Edgar loved working in the woods, had his own U-Pick Christmas Tree Farm and made his own maple syrup the old fashion way. He was also a lover of animals. Edgar will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia; son, Darren Strong, Margaretsville; step-daughter Susanna (B Joseph) LeBlanc of Port Royal; and grandchildren, Courtney, Jonathan, Aaron and Zara. Edgar is also survived by sisters, Betty Everett of Sydney, Ruth Sekulich, Picardville, AB, and Margaret (Dixon) Smith, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by step-daughter, Barbara Fairweather; brother, Clyde and sisters, Evelyn Strong and Lorna Greenbury. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service to be held Thursday, May 29th at 11 AM from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal with Canon Ken Vaughn officiating. Burial will take place following service in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annapolis Royal. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the SPCA or charity of one's choice.
