Obituary of Irene Rice

Rice, Irene Lillian, 99 of Lake LaRose, Anna. Co. passed away June 6, 2014 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Lake LaRose, she was a daughter of the late William and Alice O. (Ramsay) Ramsay. Irene loved being in the woods hunting and fishing. She was a hard working member of the Community Hall and of St. Mark's Anglican Church. She worked at the Annapolis General Hospital in the laundry and maintenance dept. She is survived son, Alvin of Lake LaRose, grandchildren, Deborah, Michael and Kent. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Henry Rice, common - law partner, Russell LeCain, brothers, Arthur, Howard and William Jr., sisters, Nina, Annie, Blanche, Evangeline and a half sister, Grace. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Perotte.
