Obituary of Terrence Wear

Wear, Terrence Owen - 66, of Upper Clements, Annapolis Co., It is with heavy hearts the family announce Terry passed away June 19, 2014, in Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born on August 31, 1947, he was a son of Nina (Mailman) and the late Daniel Wear. Terry was known around Lequille Country Store for his sense of humor and the "pet names" he gave to all staff. A special mention to the Sunday morning coffee group. He always enjoyed making his home the gathering place for family and friends. Terry was the youngest grandmaster of Kerr Lodge as well as a member of the Sheba Shrine, Barrie Ontario. When Terry was 16 years old he went to Barrie, Ontario, and stayed at "Auntie's house" and began his working career as a grocery clerk at the Red & White and ended his career as a manager of the large IGA chain. Terry was a loving father to Arron (Carmella) Wear and Lisa (Rick) Kelly; grandchildren, Haylee, Marshall, Owen and Thomas were the apple of his eye; siblings Brian (Nancy), Dale (Marlene), Brenton (Trish) and Pam (Norman); sister-in-law, Evelyn; Aunt Betty "Auntie"; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Bonnie; sister, Nancy and brother, Butch. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Following Terry's wishes there will be no visitation. A family gathering will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at A.C.H.C., Palliative Care Unit for making Terry part of their family during his illness.
