Taylor, Gene Caylop - 72, Bridgetown, passed away July 18, 2014 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in September 1941, on Arlington Road, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Sabean) Taylor. Gene lived his life by the words of Frank Sinatra "I Did it My Way". He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Nancy Lee of Bridgewater, Joe of Middleton, Gene Jr. (Cassie) of Brickton, Gene Gregory, Jannie (Mark) of Halifax, Mary Lou (Kenny) of Lawrencetown, and Christine of Middleton; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Barb (Roy) Ramey of Centerlea. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by grand daughter, Samantha Chaisson. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. There is no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held at the Hampton Baptist Church, 2:00 pm Thursday July 24th, 2014 with Pastor Heather Pearle - Gillis officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
